Product information "Il musigatto. Metodo per lo studio del pianoforte. Livello preparatorio - Maria Vacca"
DESCRIPTION
A new edition of Maria Vacca's method, filling a teaching gap that has long existed in the world of music. It has always been thought — or people have wanted to think — that music theory for the very young could not go hand in hand with play: a fatal mistake, since it is precisely through play that one can come to understand the “secrets” of music. Rich in the author's own appealing colour illustrations, the book charmingly combines fun and technique, presenting the rules in simple, flowing language.
Musigatto the cat, chosen as a travelling companion for this musical adventure, is there to explain what children usually see as a “boring” moment. The author makes it easy to understand the principles that bring music to life, and practice too — that is, playing the instrument. This volume is presented as a preparatory level, but it can be recommended to pupils throughout primary school and in children's first courses because, as mentioned, the topics are illustrated perfectly while avoiding that “serious” guise that leads children into dangerous boredom. With a lovable little cat, Maria Vacca gets children playing while they live inside a fairy tale at the same time.
